DES adds new Tension / Compression Tester

DES recently added a new Mark-10 Motorized Tension / Compression Test Stand. This will enhance our capabilities to perform:

Tensile and compressive strength testing
Fatigue testing
Life cycle testing
Pull testing on electrical connector leads
Wire crimp pull testing
Electrical connector mating/un-mating force determination
Contact retention, insertion/removal force measurements on electrical connectors
Label adhesive peel testing to ASTM D6862, D3330, D903
Puncture resistance of plastic materials or containers
